Summer Fair – Write up & photos

Once again we were very lucky with the weather as the sun shone all day, as did the entertainers on stage and around the Square. The Paraiso School of Samba brought the carnival atmosphere, leading the parade from the community centre to Chalcot Square. Thanks to the Paraiso School of Samba, Pitta Patta, Catherine’s Ballet, Primrose Hill Choir, and the LDCA Cheerleaders.

As usual, we would like to thank all the local shops and businesses, while we must warmly thank our brilliant Summer Fair organising team.

The Fair was busy all day with hundreds of burgers and sausages being served by the amazing BBQ team, gallons and gallons of Pimms were quaffed, well done the Pimms team, the Bar and Ready Steady Go cake and coffee stall did amazingly well, and Jim Mulligan was his usual brilliant self, strutting and bossing the auction. Hopefully, we have raised a lot of money. Winning raffle tickets here.

Funding Community Centre Lease

This year the money will go towards the £250,000 needed to buy out a 25-year lease for the Community Centre from Camden and in doing so secure the long-term future of the Centre.
