We were more than pleased to host another sold out Burns Supper this year. Robert Burns’ birthday was celebrated in style through music, song and verse, including a rendition of ‘Ae Fond Kiss’ kindly supplied by Brian Cox from LA. Catherine Kelly again assembled a splendid band, the Tam o’ Shanters, and Layla Brown sang for us.
There were toasts to the Lads and Lassies, and a rousing communal singing od Auld Lang Syne with bagpipe accompaniment to end the night. Thanks to all who came, and special thanks to performers and volunteers.
