In “Elizabethans”, his latest book, he tells the story of social and attitudinal change through the lives of a very mixed group of pivotal British people, from trade unionists and civil rights campaigners to entrepreneurs and politicians. The book, now a Sunday Times bestseller, provided the backdrop to a recent BBC TV series on the same subject. Andrew Marr lives locally.
He will be interviewed by On the Hill magazine contributor Micael Johnstone, corporate strategy consultant, writer and community organiser.
