Meet at 6:30pm at York Bridge south side – https://maps.app.goo.gl/8nzL1sGHeD9SYcp5A
As everyone else makes their way out of the park, join us for a nocturnal walk to talk about brilliant bats and their adaptations to hunt and survive in the darkness. Bat detectors will be provided. Sturdy shoes and torches recommended.
Remember there is no lighting in the actual park. Torches needed, especially for leaving the park. At points during the walk, we recommend turning off the torches to let our eyes get used to the dark.
Please note that in case of bad weather, we may not see or hear any bats.
The walk will finish around 7:15pm on the inner circle, where people can make their own way out of the park, the leader will be walking towards York Bridge again and then to Baker Street., where Primrose Hillites can get the 274 bus. (We recommend that you leave the park with other people.)
14 years and up.
Unless otherwise noted, we meet at 10.30 by the information board in Primrose Hill at the corner of Regents Park Road and Primrose Hill Road. You can keep up to date on our walk programme by signing up to receive our weekly bulletin via email.
