Our brilliant volunteers are cooking delicious plant-based soups and pudding to supplement the main meals we receive from the charity Felix. We deliver to individuals in the Oldfield Estate and our neighbourhood, and to The Winch in Swiss Cottage who run a project for families with under 5s.
We also run a ‘Market’ giving away some meals plus the donated fresh food and packets which we don’t use for cooking – this is currently on a Thursday morning from 10 to 11am outside the Community Centre but from the first week of May, it will be taking place every Wednesday, with the first one being Wednesday 4 May.
Exciting future plans for later in the Spring are to offer a ‘drop in’ for soup and rolls at the centre – ‘The Welcome Café’.
