For those people who were not at the AGM, we have fantastic news regarding the library lease. We have secured the lease (at no cost to donors) for the next 14 years.
Lucy Cottrell and Marijke Good led the negotiations and took the fight to Camden council, and were magnificently supported by all three councillors, with a special mention going to Lazzaro Pietragnoli who helped enormously.
Keir Starmer must also be thanked for his final nudge that pushed it all over the line. Let’s hope now we can get the community centre lease concluded, unfortunately it will be at a cost of £250,000 but that will then secure the long term future of both buildings and with them the future of the Primrose Hill Community Association
