The Community Centre and Community Library have furloughed all staff except Mick, who is keeping things on track.
We are gradually starting to re-open this month, which is very refreshing to have people at the Centre again. Because of the coronavirus, we have introduced a new policy, which expects all user groups of the centre, prior to returning, to submit a risk assessment detailing how they aim to mitigate the potential transmission and spread of the virus while they are at the Centre.
Ready Steady Go nursery have returned and a couple of others, but many in the higher risk category are biding their time and will return when they feel it is safe and appropriate to do so. We have also introduced a no waiting policy within the Centre to try and reduce the risks involved within the building.
