We are delighted to announce that last night’s Getaway Gala made made well over £20,000 toward the Primrose Hall Community Centre lease appeal!
This was double our original target, and it’s a great feeling that so many individuals and businesses in Primrose Hill care enough about the community centre to be so generous.
The event was great fun and the many locals who attended not only raised funds for the centre but had a great time bidding for holiday homes and experiences donated by locals.

Special thanks go to Greenberry Cafe for providing the delicious chicken salad, L’Absinthe for the wonderful cheese, Angelina wines for the gorgeous prosecco and Primrose Bakery and Helen Tindale for scrumptious cake. Mary- Ann Smillie and her team worked miracles from the limited space of the centre’s kitchen. Not forgetting Gallery 196 who gave us the beautiful table cloths. Thanks too to Pippa who stepped into take photos at the last minute.
We are very grateful to our sponsors, Veeve who match visitors to London, Paris and Los Angeles with real, characterful homes. They have kindly offered to give PHCA £200 for every new client they get through this event. See the video presentation from Veeve here.
And just a reminder that the Getaway Gala was part of our fundraising drive to raise £250k for the lease by Christmas 2018, if you can give or know someone who can, the information is here.
